Yes - this has always been possible with the current design. In fact,
this is exactly what "simpleExperBug" in the tutorial does. I
encourage everbody who is interested in running multiple Swarms to
study this application in detail.
At some point in the not-too-distant future I hope to put up my
extension on this "simpleExperBug2" which incorporates the notion of
running several GUISwarms in a serial fashion.
