Win 95 Install Problem

I'm trying to install both swarm-1.4 and swarmdemos-1.4
for Win95. In both cases, InstallShield runs and gets 
very near the end then generates the error message
"Severe: failed simple install rename".

I have tried various available install options, but no
luck. The last file installed for swarmdemos-1.4 is
"c:\swarm-1.4\bin\cygwin1.dll" and for swarm-1.4 it is
"c:\swarm-1.4\readme.html". Can I just switch processes
at that point and save all the files that have been 
unpacked (before InstallShield deletes them all)?

Any other suggestions?
