It was set to c:\mks. MKS Toolkit is kind of a competitor to
CygWin. In the directory are two setup files for a Korn shell:
environ.ksh and profile.ksh, a script file "sh_histo", and a 
zero-size file called "sep". Then there are two subdirectories:
"etc" and "mksnt".
