OK, I unziped the new dll and jar, but then it's even worse, cause I don't
even get the control panel. Nothing happens. More specifically, at least I
can compile:
C:\JHEATB~1.1>c:\jdk1.3\bin\javac -classpath
c:\jdk1.3\jre\lib\rt.jar;c:\jdk1.3\lib\tools.jar;c:\Swarm-2.1.1\share\swarm\
swarm.jar *.java
I'll set the path and classpath, just to make sure:
C:\JHEATB~1.1>set
path=C:\WINNT\MS\SMS\CORE\BIN;;C:\WIN\BIN;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WINN
T\System32\WBEM;c:\jdk1.3\bin;c:\Swarm-2.1.1\bin
C:\JHEATB~1.1>set classpath
.;c:\jdk1.3\jre\lib\rt.jar;c:\jdk1.3\lib\tools.jar;c:\Swarm-2.1.1\share\swar
m\swarm.jar
ClassPath=.;c:\jdk1.3\jre\lib\rt.jar;c:\jdk1.3\lib\tools.jar;c:\SunRMI\
But then when I run it, Nada. I'll check path and classpath again, but they
seem ok.
C:\JHEATB~1.1>java -classpath
.;c:\jdk1.3\jre\lib\;c:\Swarm-2.1.1\share\swarm\swarm.jar StartHeatbugs
C:\JHEATB~1.1>echo %path%
C:\WINNT\MS\SMS\CORE\BIN;;C:\WIN\BIN;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\Sys
tem32\WBEM;c:\jdk1.3\bin;c:\Swarm-2.1.1\bin
C:\JHEATB~1.1>echo %classpath%
.;c:\jdk1.3\jre\lib\rt.jar;c:\jdk1.3\lib\tools.jar;c:\SunRMI\

Well, now that I've overwritten the old swarm dll and jar, I'm not sure, but
now it does the same thing -- ie. nothing:
$ jdkswarm StartHeatbugs
$
>(Please report potential Java layer bugs by using either the Emacs

OK, I echoed PATH above, and it looks ok.
I don't use bash because I can't get it to read my .bash_login file, so (as
you can see below) it doesn't have the correct classpath.
Below are the response to javaswarm and jdkswarm -verbose StartHeatbugs
$ javaswarm
