Follow-up Comment #10, bug #43063 (project octave): This approach should work. @Orion: The header guard won't be an issue since the gnulib headers include the system headers anyways. @John: I think it's not possible to use cmath instead of math.h here. If one includes <cmath>, the compiler is allowed to insert some built-in math definitions and ignore the contents of the file.
