Hi Teus,

The updated 4.7 version installed fine.  I updated the macport.  Mac users should just do this to install the 4.7 via macports.

sudo port selfupdate (get the new portlist)

sudo port clean --all bibledit (always best to clean failed installs)

sudo port install bibledit

Hi Mark,

Yes, Simon is trying to install Bibledit-Gtk through the macports, probably
the version that is current.

Thanks for trying to update macports, and for posting the errors.

I am hoping to fix that soon, and then to upload the fixed tarball soon.

Once this has been done, I'll post here again.

The new version of the tarball has been uploaded to the website. It has the
fixes that I think will solve the problems that you saw. The fix is this.
Several files are  now executable again. Hopefully it will go well.
