It already does, try it!
 
In 1.2 you can also include chord- (and hence note-) names in text that
you typeset in the score, and that will (optionally) be transposed too.
This is used in chord charts where the key of the piece is put at the
top of the piece, and it transposes with the chord chart.
These transposition features also apply to quoted bits of music in
textual annotation - so if, for example, you put a comment that "the
original was written ..." (where ... is a short excerpt of music) then
that too optionally transposes.
