As an example of where this does not work, I must use Citrix software to
connect the my server. Unfortunately, I do not have direct ssh access.
Also, does this transfer the file to a local temporary directory? If
the edited files are large/manifold, this could be a problem.
(Citrix is mandated by my employer, and its unlikely they will be
moved to change. I'm grateful that I can access free software albeit via
this proprietary mechanism.)
