I don't think I replied to this earlier, sorry for the duplication if I 
did.

Adding new glyphs are not a problem. The only issue is that if we move to 
use pfaedit, we can no longer use VOLT and whatever font editor you 
currently use. Disadvantage to that: it restricts your choices (pfaedit 
may have less features than your editor, e.g. hinting). Advantage: others 
(i.e. sdg and I) can make changes to Mukti.
