[Fsfe-uk] [Proposal] Mailing lists

Hi,

Whilst the fsfe-uk list serves a purpose (a place for anyone interested in
free software within the UK), it is not specific to AFFS and does not have
an obvious name/address.

I'd therefore like to propose the creation of three new mailing lists:

        * affs-members
        * affs-discuss
        * affs-announce
        (or some suitable variants, eg address@hidden)

Rationale:

-members
There is currently no way to reach all registered members of AFFS, for
example with requests for help or with information relevant only to them.

-discuss
There is currently no general discussion list for those specifically
interested in AFFS-related matters in the UK.

-announce
There is currently no list for people to subscribe to from which they can
receive news updates about AFFS-related events, etc.
