Hi everyone,
I think I didn't explained myself well. Of course I don't mean having a single
server for all glob2 games, but having *dedicated* servers, such as quake
does. It could run on one of the player's computer, for LAN and if the player
is not behind a NAT/firewall, but it could also run on any dedicated computer
on the Internet. I know there is some special hosting solution for clan's
dedicated servers. The metaserver would still be there as it is now. It would
just have to do even less job because there won't be the port problem.
