I've thought of doing it, not everything, but all the various
infrastructure bits (e.g., .emacs, other dot-files) to keep my various
homedirs synch'd; seems reasonable to me...  It could a good application
for configs.

For me the main problem is actually doing the initial synchronization
(which I'd like to do) -- my dot-files all share common ancestry, but
have been slowly drifting out of sync for like 7-8 years!
