So write one you think is lightweight.  Or write an 'aserver' (a la pserver)
which does what you need.

"I don't like it's implementation of feature <foo>" does not equal "It
doesn't not support <foo>", at best it means "It's implementation of <foo>
is deficient for these reasons", and in the case of centralised development
and arch, it does not require near-shell access, so that's not a claimable
deficiency anyway.

I thought a couple of your points were quite valid, but your dogmatic
adherance to false claims devalues your entire critique.
