Of course they get confused, in fact one would _expect_ the confusion.
Aliases are more then expected in this context, and having "mv" and
"move" mean different things violates every conceivable design principle.

Delaying the rename just makes a bad problem worse. Let's just name
them properly, and the advanced users will know what to do. The vast
majority of users will be grateful.
