Because Arch's merging/patch logic is unsurpassed and because revc
is a superior expression/foundation of the essence of what the
popular alternatives are about. Too much in the FOSS world is
driven by (largely constructed) perceptions of momentum and there's
too little focus on details and longer-term thinking.
