Is it worth caching a copy ourselves?I don't think it's worth keeping a copy ourselves; let's just jump to the latest git-1.7.7.tar.gz and cross our fingers.
I now get this: Tail of target/tools/log/perl.log >>>>>>>> tar: Unexpected EOF in archive tar: Unexpected EOF in archive tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting nowCommand barfed: tar -C /media/IntelSSD/lilypond/git-gub/gub/target/tools/src/perl-5.10.0 --strip-component=1 -v -z -xf /media/IntelSSD/lilypond/git-gub/gub/downloads/perl/perl-5.10.0.tar.gz
If I try to open perl*.tar.gz I get "unexpected end-of-file". I get the same with the re-downloaded version from CPAN. I'm assuming it's corrupt. Find another one?
