Oh, by the way: voicings are one of the things that tend not to make it
through Midi.  An excellent human-played Midi on good equipment might
preserve some of it, but it is recognizable pretty much only by humans
and too subtle to pick up by converters.  And usually it is more
recognizable in life since most instruments offer a subtle control of
attack and decay character that is not reflected in Midi.
