That's rather to broad a question to efficiently answer..  If you could narrow 
it down a bit, such as by including the distrib or platform you are running, 
the PAN version you are running, and whether you got it from the PAN site 
directly, installed the default PAN version that comes with your distrib, or 
installed from another source, naming it, it would make the answer much 
easier.

Here on Mandrake, AFAIK, the Mandrake versions are all no-spell.  However, 
getting the latest (stable or beta) version from pan.rebelbase.com directly, 
and getting the spell-enabled version, works just fine, using Mandrake 
9.1/Cooker.  I might be able to help you with other Mandrake versions, but 
will probably be of less help if you use a different distrib or platform, so 
someone else will likely have to help you in that case.
