Would I be willing to do all the work? What are you crazy? I am a
typical open source user I ask for what only I need and then yell and
scream when it doesn't get done!! Oh wait, sorry wrong person, if it
is viable and would be accepted I would do the work.

Yes, I agree that it would be a shame for the work to be done and
then it not be accepted. If the team did agree to accept it, would
you be willing to do all the work?
