No, just looking at top and watching my hard disk drive.

It got to busy after I reloaded a relative huge project several times. (It had 
consumed up to 600 MB, the peak RAMBuffer files weren't deleted though this 
functionality has been there for a long time, it just wasn't called, really 
strange)
Also, a lot of objects made in for example Song, AudioClip etc. aren't deleted 
when the destructor of Song/AudioClip are called.
It's relatively simple and easy to fix those "bugs", but then I got the 
"hanging" problem, so I had to start all over again :-(

Yeah, there's a support request for it in the forum right now.

I think it's best to use the ALSA interface for this, instead of string 
detection from the device descriptor?
I was planning to have a look at it sometime in the future, but if you want to 
look at it, sure :-)
