Thanks for the warnings.

I think most of them were related to having NTFS as the backup target, right?

I want to backup Win2K ms-sql servers to a Linux box (Suse) running XFS as the 
FS.

Do you think that should work smoothly?

PS: I hope to build up a test win2k server this afternoon.  I can then test the 
process with a small DB.
