Poredjenja radi, Gentoo je stalno pratio razvoj Gnoma. Tacnije, dosta stvari 
iz 2.4 se vec odavno nalazilo u 2.2.2 verziji koju je Gentoo razvojni tim 
dopunio zakrpama. Naravno, preko Portage sistema se mogao nabaviti gnom 2.4 
istog dana kada je izasao (preko breakmygentoo ebuild-ova i sve 2.3 i 2.4rc 
verzije). 

Nalazim da je Gentoo Linux odlican izbor za ljude koji prate razvoj Linux 
operativnog sistema i pratecih programa.
