I use Redhat 5 and there are a number of issues to consider.  You need
to make sure you have all the RPMS needed. all gcc packages (objective
c is optional,not automatic), as well as the DEVEL packages for XF86.  

In the Swarm Active FAQ, I've written down the choices you have, binary,
archive install against tcl/tk 8.0 with blt-unofficial8.0, or tcl/tk 
4.2/7.6 with blt-2.3.  You can look it over in
