For a binary distribution of Swarm 1.1, and depending on your system
configuration, you may need to use these variables to locate the X11
libraries.  The README is ok.

Offhand, the only the thing wrong I see with the FAQ is that it has
examples that show "-I/usr/include/".  You definitely don't want
to do that, as it will bypass important GCC headers.
