I don't have 2.1 but I use emacs and I imagine it's the same.  Look for
emacs on your start menu.  Once it loads, type ESC-x and then type "shell".
It starts emacs shell that had some of the basic unix commands.  (Like a dos
shell only much more useful as it has scroll bars.)  I am opnly guessing
here that it is set up the same way as previous versions only automated.
(You can also tell Windows to use emacs to open all .h, .m etc files and use
it as your editor if you want.)
