I've been working with Swarm for my Ph.D. from 7 months, I've always
used Java (1.4.1_01). God knows how many problems I had to install it
on Linux (on Windows it's TOO TOO slow) and how many days (months?) I
had to wait to finally see those bugs moving on my display...
Anyway, now I work with it on Mandrake 9.0 and I do use Java: I don't
know if a Java user is not a "true" Swarm user, but I believe there's
no other programming language as elegant, formally perfect, globally
used and fit for multi-agent simulations as Java.
