Yes, when 'add_sun' is set to on, it will
automatically create a sunlight at the specified
position, it will also correctly color the sun as it
appears at that position in the sky. So there doesn't
need to be a sun in the scene, and colors don't need
to be specified.

When it is 0, no exposure calculations are done,
sqrt(2) is just the default value I always use, no
special meaning, just seems about right. Or actually,
it is the same default value in terragen, so I guess
that is why. You can set it too any value, less makes
the image darker, higher is brighter.
The reason this is different than gamma, is because
there is no value for which the exposure function
would be linear. So by specifying 0, the C++ code will
bypass the calculations.
