Well, my ttf2pk program needs FT 1.3 (since it uses OpenType
features).  And the most natural place to install is
/usr/local/include --  I want to have

  /usr/local/include/freetype
  /usr/local/include/freetype.2 (or whatever)

And I don't want a different place.
