But would we? Wasn't the other serious KDE/GNOME tension the C++ vs
C-and-the-rest language divide? Weren't many GNOME hackers unhappy with the
architecture of KDE? I'm sure the lack of freedom of Qt at the time played
its part, but I think there were other motivations too.
