Ralf Stephan (I think it was Ralf, anyway) introduced a way to change
your Makefile so that the dependencies were automatically generated and
correct. It was a Makefile adjustment/trick that users could use to
automatically generate dependencies, so they did not have to maintain
the Makefile list of dependencies.
