Hello Michael,

no luck Michael, I still have double prompt both in emacs vanilla mode and
using the IP address of the server to connect to???  And I also tried both
at the same time, vanilla mode for emacs and IP address of the server, to
no avail!!!

PS.  if it's not too complicated, and you think it could help, I could try
