Er, the "3" in "3,0,0" is not the "device" but the "bus/controller."

That means you must have 3 other "bus/controllers" in your system
labeled 0, 1 and 2. Plus, IDE-SCSI actually "lumps" all ATA devices
into the same "bus," even if they are on different cards.

E.g., in my system:

cdrecord -scanbus:

  scsibus0: [ 1 Controller: 3Ware Escalade 6410 ]
    0,0,0 0) '3ware ' '3w-xxxx ' '1.0' Disk

  scsibus1: [ *2*Controllers: AMD766 (southbridge) + Promise Ultra33 ]
    1,0,0 100) 'MATSHITA' 'DVD-RAM LF-D310 ' 'A123' Removable CD-ROM
    1,1,0 101) 'ATAPI ' 'CD-RW 48X16 ' 'A.RZ' Removable CD-ROM
    1,2,0 102) 'IOMEGA ' 'ZIP 100 ' '23.D' Removable Disk

  scsibus2: [ 1 Controller: Advansys ABP940U (IOMega Buz) ]
    2,2,0 202) 'MATSHITA' 'CD-R CW-7503 ' '1.06' Removable CD-ROM
    2,3,0 202) 'MATSHITA' 'CD-R CW-7503 ' '1.06' Removable CD-ROM
    2,4,0 204) 'SAF ' 'CD-R8020 ' '1.20' Removable CD-ROM
    2,5,0 205) 'PLEXTOR ' 'CD-ROM PX-40TS ' '1.03' Removable CD-ROM

  scsibus3: [ 1 Controller: ViA VT6303 (IEEE1394 FireWire) ]
    3,0,0 300) 'Maxtor 9' '2720U8 ' ' ' Disk

I actually have _5_ storage controllers but, again, IDE-SCSI lumps all
ATA controllers into one category, as "scsibus1".

People are asking for 100% MS Office compatibility on Linux. But
Mac users already know that is impossible, because Microsoft's own
MS Office for MacOS is very far from 100% Windows compatible.
Especially when trying to send documents back to Windows users.
