This is a problem for anyone trying to sell a concept that others don't
understand. Most sales courses suggest that the best approach is to
listen to what other people are trying to achieve and then to build on
the commonalities.

For example, a primary school is likely to be very cost conscious, and
also keen to train pupils in technology that they are likely to use in
later life. The way to sell free software is probably on cost, and on
the availability of windows-like GUIs.

They are likely to be less concerned with the ethics of free software
and introducing these into the discussion is more likely to confuse the
issue than secure the sale.

I would suggest you focus on their needs rather than talking about
issues that they may not understand.
