Follow-up Comment #17, bug #19157 (project lwip):

Ok, implement SO_LINGER will give us the possibility to choose. I suppose the
default value is disabled ("non blocking on close").

So, what is for you a good (and simple) way to poll sent&unack segments
list?

Last, what do you think about SO_DONTLINGER (which seems to be the Kieran &
Simon idea)? Doesn't seems to be BSD, but usefull...
