How is this different from a distributed indexing setup, then? After
all, the actual ShareReactor key doesn't have any link to any person in
real life. Also, it's impossible to find the "source" of the release
data; anyone on the network sharing that data could be considered the
"source"... they could go after every peer downloading/sharing the
release data, but as you pointed out, such a strategy is futile.

You also avoid the unreliability of Freenet (although this is
improving), the complexity involved in automating Freenet
publishing tasks, and get a setup that is easier to use than the current
situation: to make releases, you just run the software and paste in the
resource information.
