I'm thinking you didn't understand my first post...

You have Host A with an IP of 192.168.1.1 on eth0
You configure *EVERYTHING* to use that IP address
You configure an IP of 192.168.1.2/32 on eth0:0
You install a second distribution on another partion in Host A
You then configure *EVERYTHING* to use the 192.168.1.2 ip address.
you chroot to the mountpoint and start up what you want to provide.
