You have Host A with an IP of 192.168.1.1 on eth0
You configure *EVERYTHING* to use that IP address
You configure an IP of 192.168.1.2/32 on eth0:0
You install a second distribution on another partion in Host A
You then configure *EVERYTHING* to use the 192.168.1.2 ip address.
you chroot to the mountpoint and start up what you want to provide.

But what if you want 30 groups? How many disk would that be? And isn't that way
way
overkill for just a groupware app? Your sugestion is very interesting and
definatly has its uses, but I think it's not practical here.

fair enough, but he didn't say that in his original post, and it didn't occur
to me that he was only wanting to do phpgroupware.

He just said group a and group b. ah well, life continues.
