Hello Seek3r,
My GIF creation code runs without the gdlib, uses only file open and close. If
it is used during the installation procedure,
when the administrator selects a theme, the overhead is zero during day to day
usage. There is little extra work involved
to create PNG files with the equivalent colour depth and transparency.
