Imagine a group that already has all the ACLs and preferences setup. How long
did
it take to set the ACLs for the Addressbook, Bookmarks, Calendar, Filemanager,
Infolog, Inventory, Notes, and on and on to an ever growing list of modules?
Then
go back through and set the default preferences in the Addressbook, email and
...

Compare that with click on the "Copy" button. Type in name. Now mutlply this
by
more than you normally deal with.

Backing up and taking in the bigger picture. These poor people paid enough for
these stupid computers. Make the computers do the repetitious stuff.

Imagine the product review, "Not only does it have a pretty face but
phpGroupWare
practically configures itself."

I don't use Debian but I do have a Slackware box setup for this. Now if only I
had
time...

Amen, brother, preach it. I manage a couple of Netware boxes too. Talk about
easy.
The part that's throwing me is setting it up from scratch. All I really need
is to
be able to sit down and focus on it for a day (or less?) Then there would be no
looking back.

Oh, and by the way. I'm not looking to argue the pros and cons of any of this
stuff. I'm just trying to make it as easy as possible for the administrators.

Thanks for a great product.
