In Swarm 1.2 and other future versions will be the following macros:
#define SWARM_VERSION "1.2"
#define SWARM_MAJOR 1
#define SWARM_MINOR 2
#define SWARM_SUBMINOR 0
Note that what was (the undocumented) VERSION is now called SWARM_VERSION.
