I completely agree with that. I found the original example that I used to 
implement RTC, and they warn that it is
rarely necessary to put in maximum priority. and they recommend between 50-75

there are some issues about threads in 2.6.0 it uses New Posix threads, and 
maybe
we are not prepared for it yet...
