You should manully pass the path to the vorbis library to configure:

configure --with-vorbis=/sw/lib
Hmpf... didn't do anything ... config.log shows the same error (/sw/include is still used). What would be could if I could change the offending variables in the configure script....


As such it is an application. You can run it without any data, though it
makes little sense to do so. But you couldn't for example access the
functions it provides from an external program. Only the python scripts
executed by the built-in interpreter can access those.
So mainly a set of objects that can be imported into other programs, yes?
Right then... nearly done I guess... next up would be to get the sound and keyboard working properly... then maybe somehow put everything in one directory and link it appropriately..... this could take time :) but then, it would be a download once and run kind of thing.... 2-3 months later I can work on getting it working as a stand-alone app :))
