[this is a slightly delayed reply, due to the fact that I read the
 digest version of this list]

Putting the content of address@hidden to one side, I still believe
that AFFS needs to be self-sufficient in having its own lists.

To me, the image of using someone else's list is unprofessional.
Something we need to get away from.  

The original list names suggested by Andrew S. were a good starting
point.  Other lists for procedural matters, etc, could follow if
needed.

I've got a couple of AFFS specific ideas and points which I'd like to
bring up on an AFFS-members discussion list, but I don't really feel
they are appropriate here.
