It is only needed to build Swarm with Java features. Users of prebuilt RPMs
or Windows Swarm distributions don't need it.

If you are building from source, install this patch:

ftp://ftp.santafe.edu/pub/swarm/needed-software/diffs/objc.diff

It will prevent this:

MA> I managed to get swarm compiled OK. My model compiled with a mass

Might as well install the latest BLT, too (BLT2.4m).

ftp://ftp.santafe.edu/pub/swarm/needed-software/BLT2.4m.tar.gz

If you want a sanity check, use something that is known to work, say,
heatbugs. If you want to figure out why your app doesn't work,
the first step is to provide a backtrace.
